Damnation (Xbox 360) – Not worth the buy

When Blue Omega Entertainment decided to launch Damnation, and mentioned that it would be a third person shooter game, a lot of gamers attached high hopes with it. However, the game’s users as well as expert reviews haven’t been quite good. The game is in fact considered to be a mess of all things. It seemed as if the developers were short of new ideas, but were still desperate to launch a new game, and so they decided to come up with Damnation.

The story has some historical element in it, with robots coming in from the time of the civil war. However, the pathetic gun usage features and combat seem like those of a 2 year old child’s first toy gun. In the game, the player gets to play as Hamilton Rourke, who happens to be a rebel gang leader fighting against an industrialist named Prescott. There are a lot of high technology instruments, sci- fi weapons, and different kinds of robots that the game is filled up of. But none of these are interesting enough, and the game turns out to be boring and repetitive.

Moreover, there are horrible sound effects with low quality graphics and bad frame rates. The multiplayer is completely useless, and each time the enemy fires off, there are disgusting metallic sounds that start coming out. The buildings and other objects in the game are designed poorly and come out in a very blurry form. The special effects too look like primary animation that was added without much sensible thinking.
